Noura lives in your web browser, and it works best when you add it to your home screen, so it opens like any other app and keeps your entries safe. It takes a few taps. Find your device and browser below, and follow the steps.
Why it is worth doing. Once Noura is on your home screen, it opens full screen with one tap, it can send you a gentle daily reminder, and your streak and check-ins stay safe on your phone. It is still free, and nothing is downloaded from an app store.
For your device
You are viewing this inside another app. It looks like you opened Noura from within WhatsApp, Instagram or a similar app. You cannot add it to your home screen from here. Tap the menu in the corner of this screen, choose Open in browser or Open in Safari, and then follow the steps for that browser below.
iPhone or iPad, using Safari
The blue compass browser that comes with your iPhone.
Open nourahealth.app in Safari, if you are not already here.
Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen. It is a square with an arrow pointing up.
Scroll down the list and tap Add to Home Screen.
Tap Add at the top right. Noura now sits on your home screen.
If you do not see the Share button, tap once near the bottom of the screen and it will appear.
iPhone or iPad, using Chrome
The Google browser, with the red, yellow, green and blue circle.
Open nourahealth.app in Chrome.
Tap the Share icon at the top right, next to the address bar. It is a square with an arrow pointing up. Please note, this is not the three dots menu.
Tap Add to Home Screen.
Tap Add. Noura now sits on your home screen.
This is the step most people miss. On an iPhone, the option lives in the Share icon by the address bar, not in the three dots menu.
iPhone or iPad, using Edge, Firefox or another browser
Any other browser on your iPhone.
The simplest way is to open nourahealth.app in Safari or Chrome, and follow the steps above. Every browser on iPhone can hand the page to Safari.
If you would rather stay in your browser, look in its menu for Share or Add to Home Screen. Not every iPhone browser offers it, which is why Safari or Chrome is the sure path.
Android, using Chrome
The Google browser that comes with most Android phones.
Open nourahealth.app in Chrome.
If a bar appears offering to install or add Noura, tap it, and you are done.
If not, tap the three dots menu at the top right.
Tap Add to Home screen, or Install app if you see it.
Tap Add or Install. Noura now sits on your home screen.
Android, using Samsung Internet
The browser that comes with Samsung Galaxy phones.
Open nourahealth.app in Samsung Internet.
Tap the menu. It is the three lines at the bottom right.
Tap Add page to, then Home screen.
Tap Add. Noura now sits on your home screen.
Some versions show a small download icon with a plus in the address bar. Tapping that adds Noura too.
On a computer, using Chrome or Edge
Noura works on a laptop or desktop as well.
Open nourahealth.app in Chrome or Edge.
Look at the right of the address bar for a small install icon. It looks like a screen with a downward arrow, or a screen with a plus.
Click it, then click Install.
If you do not see the icon, open the browser menu and look for Install Noura or Install page as app.
How to know it worked. Close your browser, then find the Noura petal icon on your home screen or desktop, and open it from there. If it opens full screen, with no address bar at the top, you are all set, and this is how to open Noura from now on.
