Terms of use

Last updated: 9 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Noura Health App Limited when you use Noura, free or with Premium. We have kept them as plain as we can. Our privacy policy explains separately how we look after your information.

At a glance

Noura is an educational wellbeing app. It does not diagnose, treat or give medical advice, and it is not for emergencies. You need to be 18 or over to create an account. Premium is a paid membership for one person and one account, and monthly and yearly memberships can be cancelled at any time. Some features use AI, and AI can make mistakes, so please check what Noura tells you, especially about allergies, and use your own judgement. Nothing in these terms takes away your rights as a consumer under United Kingdom law.

The full detail is below. Tap any heading to open it.

Who we are

Noura is provided by Noura Health App Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17456320, with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Noura Health App Limited, and "you" means the person using Noura.

These terms cover the Noura website at nourahealth.app and the Noura app. By creating an account or buying Premium, you agree to them.

What Noura is, and is not

Noura offers general education and gentle support for wellbeing: food and recipes, daily check-ins, reflections on your own patterns, and information about women’s health. It is designed to sit alongside the care you receive, never to replace it.

  • Noura does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any illness, and it does not give individual medical advice.
  • Noura is not a medical device.
  • Please do not start, stop or change any medicine or treatment because of something in Noura. Speak to your GP, pharmacist, midwife, dietitian or care team first.
  • Noura is not for emergencies. If you feel very unwell, call 999. For urgent advice that is not an emergency, call NHS 111. If you are outside the United Kingdom, use your local emergency number.

Who can use Noura

You can use the free Noura without an account. To create an account, or to buy Premium, you must be 18 or over, and you confirm this when you create your account.

You sign in with a code sent to your email address. Please keep access to that email address secure, because anyone who can read it could sign in as you. If you think someone else has used your account, tell us straight away at hello@nourahealth.app.

Noura Premium

Premium is a paid membership that unlocks extra features. The features included are listed on the Your Premium page in the app. We may add to them over time.

Types of membership

  • Monthly and yearly: these renew automatically at the end of each month or year, at the price shown when you bought, until you cancel. If the price is going to change, we will tell you before your next renewal, and you can cancel before it applies.
  • Lifetime: a single payment that unlocks Premium for as long as we offer Noura. "Lifetime" means the lifetime of the Noura service, not a promise that the service will run for ever. If we ever close Noura, we will tell lifetime members at least 30 days before.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown, including any VAT, before you pay. Payments are taken securely by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

One membership, one person

Each membership belongs to one person and is linked to one Noura account. You can use it on any phone where you sign in to that account. Please do not share your membership or your Premium key with anyone else. A key already linked to one account will not work on another.

Cupboard Scan limits

Cupboard Scan has a fair monthly limit, shown in the app, so that the feature stays affordable for everyone. The limit resets each calendar month.

Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel a monthly or yearly membership at any time, from Settings, under Manage or cancel my membership. Premium then stays on until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again.

If you change your mind within 14 days of your first purchase of any membership, email hello@nourahealth.app and we will refund you in full. After a refund, Premium ends on your account.

If something goes wrong with Premium and we cannot put it right, please tell us. Your rights as a consumer under United Kingdom law are not affected by anything in these terms.

AI features

Some Noura features use artificial intelligence, including the Ask Noura companion and Cupboard Scan. These features need your agreement before you first use them.

  • AI can make mistakes. Replies and suggestions are general guidance, written by a computer. They may be incomplete or wrong.
  • Ask Noura is not a doctor or a dietitian. It cannot assess you, and it will point you to the right professional when that is what you need.
  • Cupboard Scan makes its best guess from your photo. You know what is in your cupboard. Please check the ingredient list and the food labels yourself before you cook, especially if you have an allergy or an intolerance, or avoid a food for your faith, culture or health. Please use your own judgement on freshness and food safety.
  • Please photograph only your ingredients, and keep other people, paperwork and medicines out of the picture.

What you choose to cook and eat is your own decision. Where a law allows us to, we are not responsible for a choice made only on the strength of an AI reply or a scan, without the checks described above.

Readings from devices

If you connect a health device or service, such as a glucose sensor or a phone health app, Noura shows your readings to help you notice patterns. These readings may be delayed, incomplete or missing, for example if the connection stops.

Please never use a reading shown in Noura to decide on a dose of insulin or any other medicine, or to manage a low or high blood sugar. Always use your own meter or sensor app, and follow the plan agreed with your care team.

Using Noura fairly

Please use Noura only for your own personal wellbeing, and do not:

  • share, sell or pass on your membership, your key or your account;
  • try to get around the Premium checks, the scan limits or any security;
  • copy, take apart or reuse Noura’s code, or use automated tools to collect its content;
  • upload anything unlawful, or photographs of other people without their agreement;
  • use Noura in a way that could harm it, us or other people.

Our content

The recipes, articles, wording, designs and code in Noura belong to us or to the people who license them to us. You are welcome to use them for your own personal, non-commercial use, such as cooking a recipe or sharing a screenshot with a friend. Please ask us before using them in any other way.

Anything you log or write in Noura stays yours. Our privacy policy explains how we look after it.

Changes and availability

We keep improving Noura, so features may change. We will not remove a core Premium feature that you have paid for during a period you have already paid for without good reason, and if we do, we will tell you and offer a fair refund for the rest of that period.

We work hard to keep Noura running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of faults, for example during maintenance or if a provider we rely on has a problem.

We may update these terms. If a change matters to you, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you do not agree to a change, you can stop using Noura and cancel your membership.

Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable.

Noura is for personal use. We are not responsible for any business loss, such as lost profit or lost business opportunity.

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit.

Ending your use

You can stop using Noura at any time, and you can delete your account and its information from Settings. Deleting your account does not cancel a monthly or yearly payment by itself, so please cancel your membership first.

We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, for example by sharing a membership. Where it is fair to do so, we will tell you first and give you the chance to put things right.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.

If you have a complaint, please contact us first. We will do our best to put things right.
